About WICC’s Dry Feb Challenge

WICC is going dry this February with our first ever Dry Feb fundraiser. Growing in popularity, Dry Feb challenges participants to go alcohol-free for the month of February in support of cancer fundraising and awareness.

By joining the Dry Feb Challenge with WICC, you’ll make an impact in more ways than one.

  1. You’ll help to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society

When you participate in Dry Feb, and raise money from friends and family, your donations will help the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) fund life-saving research and a nationwide support system for everyone affected by cancer. When you raise funds with WICC, you’ll also help propel us towards our goal of raising $25M for CCS by 2025.

  • You’re efforts will raise awareness around the health benefits of reducing alcohol.
The sobering facts are that any type or amount of alcohol increases your cancer risk. If more Canadians limit their alcohol intake, we could prevent about 44,300 cancer cases by 2042.
  • You’ll positively impact your own health and wellbeing
  • General sense of well being
  • Better quality of sleeping
  • More energy
  • Clearer head
