The 16th annual WICC Ontario Golf Tournament was held on Monday July 6th, once again at the spectacular Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham.
A perfect summer day greeted WICC golfers, eager to match skills against the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games course.
Participants enjoyed lunch, dinner, a golfer giveaway and bidding on amazing Silent Auction items.
The event also included a very inspirational talk from Canadian Cancer Society volunteer Shubha Dasgupta. A cheque for $75,000 was presented to the CCS by WICC Ontario board members Marian Adamson (Golf Committee Chair), Marilyn Horrick (WICC Ontario Co-chair) and Kimberly Hrycko (Treasurer). 100% of all funds raised by WICC go directly to cancer research funding with no deduction of administration fees.
