23rd Annual WICC Ontario Learning Breakfast – November 4th, 2020 – Free Virtual event – REGISTER NOW!

Please join us on WICC Wednesday as we host our 23rd Annual Learning Breakfast – this time it’s virtual!

The primary objective of the breakfast is to provide information that will help guests achieve a better understanding of cancer and its effect on our lives.  It is this laudable industry support at their events which have allowed the WICC to achieve notable success in their campaigns.

In past years, this educational event has seen several hundred insurance professionals coming together for a delicious breakfast with colleagues, while listening to guest speakers discuss cancer in its many forms. This year will be no different we hope – except it will all be virtual!  This special webinar version of WICC’s 23rd Annual Learning Breakfast will educate you about critical and fascinating work being done in the fight against cancer.

This year, we are pleased to host you on a virtual platform with world-class researcher, Dr. Raymond Reilly of UofT, as our speaker. The presentation will be onRadiopharmaceuticals for Cancer Imaging and Treatment”. Dr. Reilly has a gift for delivering technical medical research in a way that is captivating and easy-to-understand for those of us who spend our days thinking about all things risk-related.

Dr. Reilly is a licenced pharmacist in Ontario (Part B) and Full Professor and Director, Centre for Pharmaceutical Oncology at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Reilly’s research focuses on developing novel radiopharmaceutical agents to detect and treat cancer. His work involves discovery, preclinical development and clinical translation of these agents for molecular imaging or molecularly targeted radiotherapy of cancer.

What better way to start the day than an hour with friends, a hot cup of coffee and learning the importance of coming together as an industry to raise money for an important cause?  This year, more than ever, your support counts – because cancer doesn’t go on lockdown.
