The Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC) completed 18 holes in style for WICC’s 25th annual Toronto Golf Event, Ties and Tiaras — A Black-Tie Affair, on Sept. 3.
Sponsors, golfers and industry guests donned their fanciest gear, from tuxedos to feather boas, to play a round of golf at the Angus Glen Golf Club in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.
WICC was proud to present a cheque for $50,000 to the CCS in support of their amazing work in cancer research, fundraising, and advocacy.
“WICC extends a heartfelt thank-you to our generous sponsors, supporters and guests for their donations and fantastic attendance for our sold-out event,” said WICC Golf Committee Co-Chair Donna Cassidy.
Our top-level sponsors Zurich, CNA, Arch Insurance Canada Ltd., Blaney McMurtry LLP, ARS Global Emergency Management teed off the event with their generous support. WICC thanks our event sponsors for helping fund vital cancer research and support initiatives at the Canadian Cancer Society.
While the ties and tiaras are packed away for now, WICC’s National Sponsorship Program offers an impactful opportunity to support cancer research, fundraising, and awareness all year long.
