The 25th Annual WICC Ontario Learning Breakfast for Cancer took place in the ever-impressive Fairmont Royal York on November 8th and saw over 400 guests come out in support. WICC’s mission and primary breakfast is to provide information to help attendees achieve a better understanding of cancer and its effects on people’s lives.
A huge thank you must go out to our panelists, Rose Cugliari and Darin Scanzano, who graciously and courageously shared their personal cancer stories. After 25 years of hosting these meaningful events, Tuesday’s Learning Breakfast was especially touching and poignant. Darin and Rose gave us a real insight into their cancer journeys and left us all at once feeling inspired by their courage and hopeful for how we are making a difference through organizations like WICC and the CCS. Both speakers received a standing ovation – the first ever in WICC Learning Breakfast history.
With the help of our always-inspiring donors, the 2022 breakfast raised an amazing $25,000.
