Mary became involved with WICC after she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, to help support the research that helped save her life. Today, over 30 years later and cancer free, Mary has seen firsthand the work done by CCS and WICC.
“Joining WICC gave me the opportunity to see up close the great work that the Canadian Cancer Society does. Not only does CCS fund research but they promote health and cancer prevention, as well as support services for cancer survivors.”
