TORONTO, June 4, 2024 – Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC) is pleased to officially welcome CEP Forensic as its newest National Sponsor.
CEP operates Canada-wide, providing forensic engineering services including fire investigation, civil engineering, and collision reconstruction. They join the ranks of the 18 current National Sponsors as dedicated supporters of WICC and the Canadian Cancer Society.
In announcing this exciting partnership, Benoit Godin, Group President of CEP Forensic underscored, “CEP Forensic is extremely proud to be a new national sponsor of WICC. Like WICC, we are deeply committed to supporting
individuals and communities across Canada, with offices in ten locations nationwide. The impact of cancer is far-reaching, directly, and indirectly affecting people of all ages. According to the Canadian Cancer Society, an
estimated 247,000 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in 2024, a number that continues to rise. This partnership provides a significant opportunity for both CEP Forensic and its employees to engage in a meaningful cause and to
make a positive impact in our society.
We chose to support WICC notably because it’s recognized as the Canadian Cancer Society’s largest non-institutional fundraising organization. Their efforts span multiple aspects related to cancer, such as research, education,
support and awareness. Throughout this sponsorship, we remain committed to our values of agility, integrity, and excellence, ensuring that together we can make a difference in the fight against cancer. We are proud to now be
part of this great community.”
In welcoming this new National Sponsor to WICC, Ontario Co-Chair Garth Pepper said, “On behalf of WICC, I am delighted to welcome CEP Forensic to our dedicated group of National Sponsors. CEP joins an impactful group of
lead supporters for WICC’s mission to unite and engage the Canadian Insurance community to fund cancer research, support, and education, and improve the lives of those affected by cancer. We are incredibly grateful for
their support.”
This new sponsorship further enhances WICC’s progress towards its goal to raise $25 million for the Canadian Cancer Society by 2025.
