The support for the Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC) by the insurance industry has been overwhelming since its inception in 1996. We have see grass roots support across Canada as well as sold-out events. Individuals from our industry continue to donate hundreds of hours of their time to raise money and make every event an overwhelming success.
WICC has come a long way since its inception. We now have chapters in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and British Columbia, as well as support from the Maritimes. We are proud to have donated over $17,500,000 to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based charitable organization of volunteers whose mission is to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life for those living with the disease. The Canadian Cancer Society is Canada’s national cancer charity and the largest national charitable funder of cancer research in Canada.
