It’s not quite Fall, so there’s time to book your table and secure your sponsorship for WICC Ontario’s Annual Learning Breakfast, which will take place at the Fairmont Royal York on Thursday, November 6th, 2025.

This year marks our 28th breakfast and it promises to be our biggest yet!

Our first speaker, Dr. Stuart Edmonds joined CCS in February 2020 following the amalgamation with Prostate Cancer Canada (PCC). As Executive Vice President of Mission, Research and Advocacy, he oversees the Research and Advocacy teams. Stuart will share how important prevention is, why Canadian Cancer Society’s (CCS) work is so important, what is happening in the world of cancer research and support and why you should choose CCS as your charity of choice.

Our second speaker is Anthony Henry, who shares his story with us as a prostate cancer survivor post-diagnosis in January 2015. He has a strong family history with prostate cancer, as his father passed away following a stage four prostate cancer diagnosis, and his brother and uncle have also been impacted. He’s passionate about PSA testing, as he feels that many men are unaware or unresponsive to the importance of testing and examinations, leading to more late-stage prostate cancer diagnoses. Anthony has also participated in the CIBC Run for the Cure twice and is part of the True North Peer Navigation program, for which CCS awarded a grant. He strongly believes in the importance of funding research.
