Cunningham Lindsey’s Michael Butler was the chair and emcee of the WICC Ontario 16th Gala Dinner held on April 18, 2012 at The Westin Harbour Castle Hotel and Conference Centre in Toronto. The theme of the evening was ‘Power In Plaid – Celebrating the fabric of WICC’.
More than 600 people attended the event which featured cocktails, scotch tasting and a silent auction, followed by dinner and entertainment by the Celtic band, The Mudmen. Martin Kabat,
CEO of the Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Division was presented with a $250,000 cheque from WICC. Since the inception of WICC in 1996, more than $5.5 million has been raised in Ontario alone.
